At Complete Metal Finishing Ltd, metal polishing is more than a service – it’s a proud family tradition stretching back over 50 years.

Our story began in 1971 with Karl’s father, Mick – fondly known in the trade as Metal Mickey. With an eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, Mick built a reputation for finishes that were nothing short of flawless. He set the standard – and those standards still guide us today.

A Father-and-Son Legacy

Karl followed in his father’s footsteps at just 17, learning the skills of the trade the traditional way: hands-on, with patience, precision, and pride.

In January 2013, Karl launched Complete Metal Finishing Ltd, creating a business rooted in family values. Now joined by his son Milan – the third generation of the family to enter the trade – the legacy lives on.

Milan grew up around polishing benches and workshop chatter. Now, he stands shoulder-to-shoulder with his father, continuing the same commitment to quality that Mick began five decades ago. Their bond goes beyond family – it’s a shared passion for perfection and pride in every job.

What We Do

We specialise in metal polishing and finishing for brass, stainless steel, aluminium, and zinc, with 95% of our work focused on British brass sanitaryware. From luxury bathroom fittings to bespoke metal components, we deliver finishes that meet the highest standards in the industry.

Because perfection matters to us, we’ve even designed and built our own polishing machines – tailor-made with multiple speed settings – to give us complete control and consistency across every project.
